2010 is here. And I’ve got resolutions – two of ‘em. #1- read more books. I haven’t read a novel from start to finish since 2003. #2- Start a diary. Or a journal (I haven’t decided what to call it yet). I want to document the year in my own words, noting all the funny stories, the dramas and the highs and lows etc.

Choosing the diary was the first real challenge. I think that if you have written a diary before, you have a good idea of how much you write and how often you do it. I want enough space to get into my storytelling, yet not so much that a boring day is made even more boring by slaving away to finish a page.

So here’s what I’ve gone with: 6 thin Moleskine notebooks (one for every two months), and a shit load of Bic biros. If I don’t write much, I might only use 4 books. If I really get into it, I might do one book each month.
